Not directly but I find it harmful to say "just a reminder you don't know these men!!" Because there was no way anyone could have seen this coming. We need to hold the men accountable, not us fans.

Saying you don't know someone is never helpful to a situation since you're trusting them to be telling you the truth whether it's a celebrity or someone you consider a friend in real life like there are families who didn't know their spouse/parent was a serial killer. Anyone smart enough can keep up appearances of a normal life.

I'm saying those are things that some people in the kpop community would like to know and this would be one of them

there is a broad spectrum of sex crimes ranging from human trafficking to underage kids to AI stuff to sexual assault to prostitution etc etc

now there are also a lot of things in SK that are crimes which to the rest of the world maybe treated as not so criminal - aka certain drugs (2ne1 and CL???)

I'm not trying to minimize what Taeil did (well in fact I can't minimize it since I don't know what he did)

Victim (or the insta profile of the victim) has been commenting on his insta about his crimes openly since July, apparently under YT vids as well and shared a part of the police report as well.
The insta now is private because it got flooded with people but that insta has been open about it

I think we might know the gist eventually, if there's a police investigation. Well, in most sexual cases there is a victim, or? He probably won’t get in that much trouble if he shared deepfakes from fictional characters

At the end, if the victim is alright with it, they (or their legal team) will probably release a statement

like I said I don't know what he did (if you do know more then feel free to share with me) which is why I said "I would love to know what he actually did" since there is a broad spectrum of "sex crimes" which I've already mentioned

taeil installed hidden cameras for 6 years. he told the girl to die and threatened her. he also threatened to kill her mother.
the rumor is that taeil did molka to a 12 years old girl until she reached 18 years old, means that he did molka for whole 6 years.
the court already accepted the lawsuit since July but SM held the news.

The Real Reason NCT’s Taeil Was Removed from the Group

The singer debuted in the group in 2016.

SM posted on their social media accounts that Taeil was removed after he was “accused in a criminal case related to a sexual offense.”

“As we were assessing the facts related to the matter, we recognized the severity of the situation and determined that Taeil can no longer continue his activities with the team (NCT),” the K-pop company wrote in their statement, via Soompi. “After discussing with Taeil, we have decided on his departure from the group.”

SM continued that Taeil is “currently cooperating fully with the police investigation”, while the company is continuing to provide updates as the investigation continues. “We deeply apologise for the concern and distress caused by our artist.”

Criminal case related to a sexual offence, and police investigation. I guess (it's just my guess!) that he sexually harassed either another idol or a fan.
