Boy groups fandom still diminishes the same as girl groups, Super Junior doesn't sell as much as they used to despite album sales increasing since they were on top and it comes with the territory of not releasing hits any more. The main difference between them is that the pool of fans for groups to pull from is larger for boy groups than it is for girl groups as kpop has a female dominated fanbase.
