Even an old nokia phone tat i had b4 i had Iphone could play videos, issue was always finding the video in a format n delivering it to tat phone. Rand, cant ur non-smartphone play videos at all?

lol dude some where in the house is a very old flip phone that has not had minutes on it for a decade or more.

i barely tolerate phones. almost never call people.
I do answer my hard line phone but so much junk calls every day just annoys me even more.

The only time i really considered a cell was back when you did not get robo calls to em.

How does ur work get in touch with u in an emergency if ur not in office or at home? (I was once in a cinema with friends with my phone shut off n my brother left a mysterioys msg on it; luckily it wasnt quite as serious as unexpected it but still shocking in its way). How abt family n friends who want to get in touch with u? Ur similar in a way to my dad, but even he had a cell phone-he just nvr switched it on unless to call out; musta driven ppl crazy-especially my aunt; his sister. My mum got used to it tho. Waddaboutchu? Does it drive anyone crazy tat ur not contactable? Wait, did u ever/do u still hv a pager? Rand, if so tats incredible!!!still you do you, as the kids say nowadays!

i had to carry a pager for work .

probably why i hate even the idea of carrying a phone with me so much.

I refuse to be at everyone's beck and call 24/7.

This way when i do call ppl , they pick up....

heck i do not even check the messages often if ppl call when i am not at home or cant get to the phone in 4 rings. but i do answer the phone when i am sitting at the desk or in that area of the house. I struggle to remember to take a cordless into the bedroom to answer when asleep. Which i only do when we have current family issues.

lol i had a boss who kept threating me to buy a phone that i had to carry. Which would be fine i guess if they want to pay for it, but i just do not want to have to carry the dang thing around all the time.
