They asked for my sexuality and my preferred pronouns in a job application. I understand the pronouns part, but why do they need to do sexuality? Apparently, it's for diversity and inclusion.​

It’s more common in some countries than others apparently. In the US I believe you can refuse to answer.

They ask just for PR so they can say they're diverse, I don't think most places actually care

Yeah. When people meet me they don't really need to ask. But I wouldn't answer on an app

No it’s mostly for statistics purposes as I’m finding out. It really doesn’t affect your chances (positive or negative) of getting the job.
