Seems like they're trying to be hands off SM which says to me getting their money and getting out and either way it's probably bad news for the future of SM as out of SM, YG, JYP and Hybe I'd definitely go with SM as the hardest to replicate formula as there is more variables to it because of how varied the groups can be.

Much as i hate it every day makes it look like LSM and HYBE are the better choice, and the board are morons... and that makes me a tad crazy in a very bad way.
