I suspect the timing of the announcement might hv sth yo do with hoping it gets buried/deflected by other news scandals/verdicts/actions taken recently n CUBE hoping no attention is paid to this maybe, but they mighta been mistaken; first in the beginning underestimating the seriousness of the matter ; n now after many mths denying/deflecting/defending themselves/Soojin things hv come to this but CUBE still getting heat for making the wrong moves. Its just too messy n i dont know wat to think of everything, except i dont know the truth n probably nvr will. I hv my own idea of mighta happened but its just speculation, so imma leave it at tat. I hope this kinda brings a satisfying closure pending any uncocluded court cases for those who were bullied in this whole mess.

Soojin being kicked out is just another great example of Cube not knowing how to protect their artists and not knowing how to properly handle a scandal

She perhaps lied to cube in the first place and they started a lawsuit but cleaning her name didn't seem achievable and they decided to kick her out. If she just apologized and went on a hiatus for a few months, none of these would have happened. Otherwise, if they planned to kick her out in the beginning, the lawsuit seems random and unreasonable.

I really can't have empathy for her because her reactions after the rumors broke out all seemed quite immature. May this be a lesson for all the kids in school acting reckless without knowing it will bite them in the ass later.

A surprising number of idols were really pretty rich kids. That they had entitled childhoods and were jerks seems about normal actually.
Would be a good reason the monster agencies want to get em so young. Make em be aware then that actions will impact the future.

It is very sad news, and we'll probably never know if what Soojin did was actually true or not. If she did actually do it, then I have no sympathy for her because of how she acted and dealt with the situation, however, if she didn't do it and she is telling the truth, then CUBE has made another massive mistake and they are the ones who should be punished themselves.
Also, she's not on the 'Most popular female idol voted by Korean lesbians and bisexual girls' list anymore (which I will post later after 12 am KST lol), because last year she came in 3rd place behind RV Irene and Seulgi, so I think this scandal has really affected her.
