I'm a bit torn for rank 2 as I really enjoy both songs a lot, but as christmas is coming up I give it to Magical

I wonder if the people who don't like it don't like it because it sounds like.. other things?

Like for me, it sounds like a Minogue sister interpolating Last Christmas in the 90s.

So if I was being objective I'd be like, "man this is like three layers of unorignal"
But the Minogues slap, Last Christmas slaps, and so Magical slaps.

(the other thing that I'm not 100% sure about is the key changing bridge, I think that's maybe a bit too much? idk)

yeah I can see what you mean, it really sounds VERY familiar I did not think of the Minogues though. But yeah I also love chirstmas songs so probably thats why I enjoy it and I think it has some really sweet lines in the lyrics

I'm not a big fan of songs that sound overtly "Christmas-y". They're good songs and I can listen to them during the holiday times, but I much prefer songs I can listen to comfortably all year round.
