i found this comment on why there are no promotions ... not sure how true it is...

not really only SMs fault. Some things came together.
1st the song was planned to be released last October but all their schedules had to be delayed. it should have been SUJU in August, Exo September, Taeyeon beginning of October RV end of October, but due to problems with SUJU everything was delayed and Taeyeons release had to be cancelled. Thats why RV released their haloween themed song in December.
2nd Taeyeon can‘t promote this time, because she is on tour with her S..One concert, but her comeback could not be delayed any further or it would have been completely cancelled.
But still even without promotion our goddess managed to get AllKills and show wins with her song. A true goddess of KPOP indeed

Isn't 'S one the encore concert? That's usually just one or two dates in Korea. The main tour was the 'S concert.

Not sure I believe this reason as I'm unfamiliar with cb promos. I'm inclined to believe the delay (which I still blame SM for) plus Taeyeon's reluctance to promote as main reason.

Still I'm happy she got this win. Next week is she still eligible/have a chance to win since the song is few weeks old? (n facing BP Kill This Love.) Either way hoping one of them wins so that one song from either of my stans wins. Just a bit heartbreaking 💔 they both can't win next week.
