At least as far as I can tell you are ad free. That other site is almost impossible to use with how many ads it has. Drives me insane.

On kpopsource I can easily browse the entire site without any slow down or issues. On the other site my laptop continually freezes up and will take 5 minutes just to scroll through a single thread.

I shouldn't have to pay a monthly subscription just to be able to browse a damn forum.

I overlooked/dint notice it when first posted in 2022, but i read it a few weeks ago n it explains so much of why the site is blazing fast for me even in slow-mobile internet asia(except for the cards page, thousands of cards take awhile to load on my phone, but its still super fast-considering).

If you use Firefox, get the uBlock Origin and NoScript extensions. My preferred method for blocking Ads for years. Having said that, I don't have problems with unobtrusive Ads in tolerable amounts. But if they even slow down my relatively modern hardware, I become a grumpy old man and block all website Ads systematically. Hard luck, no money from me.

If KPS would add some decent (!) advertising to fund their server upgrades, I'd put this site on my uBlock whitelist and you could earn some money. But please don't overdo it, admins.
