For those who celebrate it.... G-d I don't think I can take much more of this... Turkey, Stuffing, Potatoes, Mac+Cheese, Candied Yams, and three different pies... and a cheesecake Is this a holiday or a job?

Anyway for those of you who don't celebrate it enjoy your day off

I DO NOT HAVE A DAY OFF CAUSE OF THANKSGIVING

Less than 5% of humanity hv the day off, tats 1 in every 20 ppl-i think.

On KS, a KPOP forum-out of 2000+ registered users, my rough calculation is maybe a higher percentage hv the day off for this.(i dont wanna say how many active rn users, regular posting users over last 2+ yrs n inactive users there r, cos it might shock/surprise u wat my calculation/belief is; also current no rn may be changing due to stuff)

Still, u disregarded the many users who dint hv ytd off

Despite tat, how did u enjoy the play, Mrs Lincoln?(my version of dad joke-disregard/ignore this if u find it unfunny)

Day off (in ur OP) implicitly implies(to me anyway), an adult working a mon-fri regular job that has the weekends free or similar, so i think my less than 5% of humanity is accurate.

I have a miniscule amount of people around as well.. However, my sister has rescheduled her thanksgiving for monday and she has acquired two turkeys. I pray she doesn't plan on giving me any

What about unemployment?

I dont believe unemployment counts as having the day off, as many ppl who r privileged think tat the unemployed hv 365 days off in a year n 366 in leap years. So no, less than 5% of humanity hv/had the day off in wat was in ur time zone n nation a national holiday. If u were in a US-centric/who is a US born citizen pop star?(ok taylor swift or bey) forum n posted the same OP, id be wrong/trolling(?) to be writing so many words about this. But KPOP forum here with many users from outside U.S.A. end of my rant n engagement with this thread. (Unless it helps me get to complete my daily quest)

Is Thanksgiving a religious holiday or an American holiday? We don’t celebrate it in Australia. We don’t even get a public holiday for it so we still have to go to school/work... Like even though Australia doesn’t even celebrate Halloween we still get decorations and the stores all change their themes but Thanksgiving is literally non existent here. I wasn’t even aware it was a thing until I started using forums and the majority were from the US

lol.. It is an American holiday based around a lot of cooking for most Americans. Many do still have to work, but I wasn't really referring to economic or academic work.. but rather the work in cooking and cleaning from early morning to late evening.. but much of my post got lost in translation mostly because this is a forum for which my facial expression cannot be seen and my facetiousness not expressed well.
