I meant ratings as in User ratings, not the american way where view counts are called ratings.

It's not a serious post though. In no way, is it actually the best episode. It's just a cool tidbit that's it's the highest rated on imdb rn.

yep, online rating kinda pre selects for a much more current show or younger/geekier demo.
and pure numbers pre select for a time when there was no cable.

Eyeballs is not a horrid way to judge a show though.
GoT had to have big numbers for the time considering even more it was a custom pay channel, and thus a sizable chunk could not even casual watch.
