Hawaiian has a very small alphabet, one of the smallest in the world. The alphabet is Latin based, and only has 13 letters. However, Hawaiian is able to modify the letters and their sounds by using apostrophes and dashes.

You do need to get used to the glottal stops, since that changes the meaning of the word. Like how moa means chicken, but mo`a means cooked Some might find that hard at first.

In case, anyone's wondering, Khmer is the longest alphabet, with about 74 letters in total
I tried learning it once, but yeesh
