Just curious...
my bf's cat has been trying to subtly let us know she's upset her water fountain broke.
Every day she'll go over to the broken thing and sit there and just silently look at us until we make eye contact with her.
We then have to apologize and remind her it's broken before she'll leave it alone.
She loves her water so she adored that thing and now is just upset we gave her a regular bowl again.

My parents had an orange cat and a grey cat (still have the latter though). I don't remember what happened, but the orange cat did something to get them both in trouble while my mom was getting their food, and so my mom made them wait a little longer for their food.

Since they had to wait, the grey cat stared at the orange cat for a while like "You know this is your fault right", and the orange cat avoided his eyes.

My cat once scratched my quite bad so I got mad on her and closed the door (I was exercising at home). Then she was staying alone in the living room. She came back to my room only late at night and instead of sleeping in the bed like she would normally do, she stayed on the floor

Had a maltese that ran over to the neighbors' once and rolled in the mud. When we put him in the bath he'd swat the water at us in annoyance.

And not just holding the dog, like real deal spooning or her face in my neck and paws holding my arm

my cat link who is a flamepoint siamese is very talkative. if you respond to him with words he will also respond.
he is also very interested in my room and if i see him looking in through the door, like hes ready to sneak in, and i tell him no. he will stop but will continue to just Stare through. (i dont let the cats in cause they knock all my stuff off the shelves)
