I have taken some time to reflect and realized that I used the term stan very loosely. I only really truly stan a few groups:

Kingdom, SHINee, Lapillus, NMIXX, Le Sserafim, New Jeans, IVE, Purple Kiss, BTS and TXT​

According to the official definition of stanning, I do not. I don’t watch any of their variety content and I mix up two members

I must listen to all their songs, i must watch all their variety, I must know all the members and be able to tell them apart with ease, I must own at least one of their albums or have spent money on them in some other way, I must know their debut date by heart and know at least two fun facts about each member.

This is what I’ve been told by multiple people that true stanning is. I do have a lot of groups that I really like and support but they don’t match this definition so I still put them in my bio just under a different section

I also think its a good definition that makes sense, but I do not think its something that is really "offical" as you will still have a legion of people that call themselfs stan when they know one song of a group

Well I used to say that I stanned 30+ groups or so but they don’t firt that definition. There’s a few groups that are borderline like Ateez, Stray Kids, NCT, Twice, etc who I really enjoy but 1-2 of the criteria are not met

If I take the critera as literal as you do it now, I'm stanning zero groups

Realized I’m more interested in Hanse than Victon as a whole group, Oneus I used to ult but after Ravn left I wasn’t interested in them as much, Ab6ix I fixated on them for like a whole two weeks, and MCND after Not Over nothing they released was good imo
