well akshully i dont choose my biases they choose me by just reappearing in my mind all the time when literally nobody asked for their foolishness.
sf9 forced me to ult them because i'm very picky and i dont enjoy a lot of things because of that, but they sing EXACTLY how i like. so eventually i could not ignore them anymore. then i heard inseong since something once and i thought i would have to lay on the floor to recover. i loved it that much. i just kept thinking what is it like to be able to do that? to be that good at what you do? he must feel so proud.
i also got addicted to their music cause they have a song called 'life is so beautiful' but i dont believe that, i think life is HORRIBLE and that nothing is good about it. my therapist asked me to make a list of 5 things i think is good about the world and i couldn't come up with even 1. but they make that song sound so believable. so i kept listening to it thinking "how can they sing this total lie like they believe it? and why am i listening to such a total lie? why do i even like this song? maybe for them life is beautiful? maybe when youre talented and good looking and people actually like you life is beautiful. Why is life beautiful for other people but not for me?' i had a whole existential dilemma about that song which led to me listening to it a whole lot and thinking maybe there must be something beautiful about life if they can make that song sound that good. even if i dont get to experience it, it must be great for other people. but even though i dont experience that feeling at all i still like the song. so maybe i dont disagree as much as i thought? or maybe i just want that feeling because i dont experience it? IDK. its a mind trip
then for my ult bias he literally just showed up on his own. one night in my dreams chani showed up and totally rekt me. idk why because i thought my bias was taeyang or hwiyoung. i woke up super confused like 'why tf did i just get dreamrekt and why was it chani of all people? there's nothing special about him. do i even like him?' so i thought about it and i looked at him and i realized there's a lot that's special about him and that oops that is my true bias i just didn't notice. those are the qualities i typically go for in dudes i date in real life, so it does make sense.
so basically i dont choose biases i just accept them when they start taking up lots of space in my head. when they get me curious or super impressed etc
