I know it’s November now but this thread idea was still on my list and I didn’t want it to go to waste.

Anyways, what movie do you consider to be the scariest?
I hate horror but my family for some reason really liked The Ring series. I despised it and still do. That movie series has caused so many nightmares to where it got so bad that I could sense Samara (the ghost girl) before she even showed up in my nightmares. I truly felt like I was being haunted in my sleep because of it. About five years ago I tried to watch the movies again to hopefully get out of what I thought was just a childhood fear. But I couldn’t make it through halfway of the first one.
I do not like it whatsoever ​

I've never watched any horror movies I think tbh (closest is coraline ig) but I've read horror books (only as a child tho tbh), and watched horror anthology shows (each episode is a horror story)

This psych horror from '86 called The Fly takes the cake for me. We had to watch it for college English, and OMG WHAT WAS THE PROF THINKING??? Horror movies alone scare me shitless (and once even literally), but psych horrors???

And btw is Don't Worry Darling really that scary? I wanted to see it bc Harry Styles, but it's listed as a horror...
