The stage presence boost that comes from having been on tour (1 Viewer)

It's amazing how much of a difference having been on tour vs not having been on tour does to performing ability for idols.
It makes sense.

Music show performances are so brief and so impersonal that there isn't much room to improve using just those.
However once a group goes on tour, the idols get so much more experience so much faster.

This is why I never care much when a rookie group or a less popular group that has not been able to perform much outside of music shows doesn't have the greatest stage presence.
Like it is HARD to improve stage presence JUST on music shows (Or performing to 10-20 ppl in small venues)

I agree.
I can only talk about skz cuz they are my ult. However i remember the members talking about how devastating it was for their mental health not being able to perform in front of ppl. The sheer thrill, joy and confidence they had on their first tour after covid and even now is unmistakeable.
