But even so, "older" visuals are attractive too. What's so appealing about literal children? Like so many underaged idols get sexualized (nobody should be, to like an uncomfortable degree) and that's so disgusting.

I love TVXQ/JYJ Junsu, I don't give a crap if he's in his mid 30's. Man is still beautiful to me. Voice of an angel too.

Eric Nam, Taeyeon, Onew and more have also hit 30+ and they don't look like a day over 20. Beautiful vocally and visually.

I dunno. there are child actors and actresses that enter the industry young too so should there be any difference with music? but then I just ... eh, can´t imagine they are having that much fun. keep it at schools as school bands etc. that could be real fun and even if they are really good and talented they could make it to the top later on.
I feel no one should debut under the age of 16 and child actors should not be used unless they are essential for the story to keep children out of all that.
I am sure they are having fun and their parents might be there to overlook everything but the stress? knowing how perfectionist the industry is?

And I think it is grest to support a kid s passion by allowing them to attend dance schools and singing lessons while also allowing them to grow on their own speed, but you see a kid wanting to be a doctor and we are not allowing them to perform surgeries either. But in the end of the day, msybe I am the close minded one here most kids want to be that cool

no I agree with you
especially now that you see a lot of idols who have parents who are obviously stage parents
I already mentioned habi's mom who is imo, and then there's somi's dad, etc
and that isn't even taking into account all those stage parents who stay more behind the scenes

Problem is as a whole kids are becoming more popular and it's a pretty unsettling trend so now there's people inside of Kpop who are trying to take advantage of that by releasing stuff during the training period kids have which in my opinion should be behind the scenes as showing them at such a young age in a profession that is basically built on selling yourself as partner material will only have people unhealthily obsessed with them

Well there's plenty of instances of school stuff which wasn't even in the public eye coming back to bite idols already but at the very least they wouldn't be killed immediately if it's felt like they crossed a line however it all catches up to idols just because they're public figures

It sucks though that peoples careers can be ruined in a matter of seconds because of something that happened when they were literal children. People grow and evolve.

That's something society doesn't seem to grasp that people are capable of as there are instances of people still getting shunned for controversies that happened so long ago
