Concocted by some miraculous genius to snare the hearts of fanboys everywhere.

I call it the Cute Flustered Chinese Girl Running After You With Their Bicycle character archetype.

You know them. You've seen them before.

They're the cute, usually small, often socially awkward and easily flustered female lead who often stars in Chinese or Taiwanese dramas.

Not the pretty sophisticated or glamorous girl that all the boys pine over.

But the cute yet often overlooked female who always finds herself acting awkward or goofily in her attempts to gain the attention of the boy she likes, almost always in an endearing manner even if she feels embarrassed because she's not "the glamourous" vixen she many times wishes to be (as she thinks the boy she likes will like that sort of thing).

Her awkward, goofy yet loveable and endearing manner is summarized in my eyes in the image of the tiny pixie like girl running awkwardly with her too big for her bicycle chasing after the boy of her dreams in flustered yet oh so adorable fashion.

This character is god damn irresistible.

I'm watching A Love So Beautiful and the female lead fits this archetype perfectly.

She's cute. Pretty. Awkward. Goofy. And always adorable.

And she has a bicycle.
