I think Kihyun is really commendable for choosing such a topic for his solo debut. Youth speaks to the very human emotions that we experience such as happiness, obligation, our past selves and I find the M/V very comforting as it shows Kihyun on a playground, dancing freely,

The lines that touch me most is the final verse:
"I remember when I felt anxious when I was young
the night that I spend awaken, feeling frightened
Wish I could tell myself at that time
that I was already doing well"

I also like:
"I want to be happy without trying so hard"



@Monbebe do you relate with the message Kihyun is singing about? Did this solo debut meet your expectations?

I've always felt Kihyun is a likable idol, and I used to stan him when I was monbebe. He still is an idol that I associate with comfort, so I think I'm content with the song. I do think a better time to release it would have been the Spring.​

He’s been my monsta x bias since I became a fan and I love his solo music as well, his solo debut (this is actually his comeback) was great bc the title was rock exactly what I wanted from him! And it’s good he can release both personal songs and just fun, groovy songs
