Thoughts on blurring controversial parts of MVs? (1 Viewer)

For anyone who has watched EXIDs Fire MV you can see that during the 1st chorus Hanis hair is blurred in it due to I assume pushback on the hairstyle when Hanis concept photos came out as that was featured in one of them so is this something you'd want to see more of or are you against it? ​

Since a lot of people have been complaining about "cultural appropriation" in the past, I think instead of wasting time dealing with the backlash, SMK simply blurring it out is fine because they probably learned what happened with other labels and artists with their MV's.

Even though blurring may have deterred some backlash, SMK still could have experienced it since the promotional photos of the members were likely released prior to the MV. Or were the promotional photos released afterwards?

But, because labels are still continuing to do it anyway, if they have the sense to blur it out, I don't mind.

makes sense. i am always suprised at just how much they do late in a cb prep. ie artist are always saying in behind stuff that they were doing mv or recording stuff a few days before the cb date.

I think it makes sense if it's too difficult to edit out but depending on how offensive more serious measures would need to be taken. Fortunately there aren't many music videos that are just unable to exist due to controversy

If it was due to CA then I get why people would want it censored. However, I'm not effected by CA, so my opinion holds no weight.
