Talk to people who know the language is the best way
I always thought my german was good before I moved here, but I think I really learned it when I actually spoke the language the whole day

Just practice a lot and if you can try and talk to someone regularly in that language

i just wish i could find someone who speaks korean fluently

actually try to USE the language. Try to listen to it, try to read it, try to write it and speak it.

For me what I find helps learn vocabulary a lot, is to try reading simple stories. the simpler the better starting out and every time you run into a word you don't know you write it out separately.

Also when using the language yourself aka reading or writing, do not be afraid to make mistakes.
