It's really hard to beat this combo. I'd definitely want Ten, but then you basically need Shotaro and Taemin to have a trio where no one is clearly better than the others.

So going in a different direction, let's go with, given Catch Catch is becoming popular and B1A4 is coming back, who would make a delightful 2nd/early 3rd gen style group but with 5th gen idols and I will pick:
Yewon (Fifty Fifty), Juun (Hearts2Hearts), and Mia (Baby DONT Cry)
