The only reason people are saying this is because the standards are different with Kpop. You'd never look at American music and be like "You're too old" to listen to this music.

FOR REAL, you ain't gonna see ppl saying ''Oh you're too old to listen to Taylor Swift or Shawn Mendes''
I remember some time ago ppl even did age demographics for fans and the idols we're surprised if say a mom and her daughter both liked a certain artist!!!
