Yeah I share a lot of the same sentiments as you which is why I find most boy groups boring. Also their overly edgy, moody, angst aesthetic gets too old for me sometimes.
One of the reasons I got into Treasure was because they have really good vocals and their concept/image is very fresh and energetic, which matches their young ages. I think the song went hard but at the same time the melody and verses did their job in keeping it on the lighter side of things. The lyrics weren't emo either, so I loved it all.

Yeah, that's exactly what I think as well.
If I like a BG song, it has to be different and I enjoy the song, dance, etc and although I find this song to still be quite similar, it's also very different, so while I'm not in love with it, it's a comeback that I do actually really like and of course there is room for me to love it eventually.
But speaking of BG's, if I do actually like a BG, it's usually groups like Day6, N.Flying, The Rose lol

The intro was really great I wish the whole song continued with the same routine.... But then during the first pre-chours it got a bit boring. The chours and everything else was pretty nice tho except the pre-chours.


I don't know if I like the song or not as for now... But I am not amazed or satisfied by it, I will need to listen to it more to decide.
