JIHOON x DOYOUNG, The Chefs of YG TREASURE… Explosive Reactions on Their ‘Strawberry Toast Cookbang

[OSEN=박소영 기자] The self-proclaimed ‘chefs of TREASURE’, JIHOON and DOYOUNG, presented a cookbang full of chemistry.
On April 2 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE – Cooking’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s social media accounts.
In the video, DOYOUNG revealed the recipe of his ‘addictive’ 3-minute toast. He revealed the required ingredients before he began cooking. On JIHOON who commented, ‘I’ve never seen black pepper go in a toast’, DOYOUNG reassured him by bragging, “It’s my unique recipe”.
After the cookbang began, DOYOUNG showed focus on par with professional chefs, and began preparing the ingredients. JIHOON took an attempt on a bread mukbang while it became quiet, presenting laughter for the viewers.
The variety of change between the two members’ chemistry within the short 3-minue period made the episode fun to watch. They smiled whenever they looked at each other and patted each other’s hips in the beginning, but later quarreled over the recipe as the food was almost ready.
Towards DOYOUNG who looked relaxed while cooking, JIHOON looked stuffy and yelled, “Please, this is enough”. However, DOYOUNG continuing with his recipe without being shaken by JIHOON mad the viewers burst into laughter.
After twists and turns, the ‘strawberry toast’ was prepared. JIHOON reviewed, “It’s good, but it’s hard to eat”, while DOYOUNG showed satisfaction and tried to convince him by replying, “You need uncomfortableness if you want it to taste good”.
While currently on a full-scale debut project, TREASURE is presenting their variety of charms by closely connecting with their fans through various contents including ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE’, ‘TREASURE MAP’, ‘TMI’, and ‘Fact Check’.
Furthermore, TREASURE revealed their profile photo series in addition to their first 12-member performance video of ‘Going Crazy’, the signal song of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’, and consecutive cover videos of the members, which gathered the global fans’ attention and expectations.

The article mentions that middle schoolers and high schoolers start distance learning (online) on April 9th due to schools remaining closed. I guess this probably means Yedam, Doyoung, Jeongwoo, and Junghwan will be hanging around the dorms and practice facilities more.

Yoshi should study with the high schoolers to mix things up.

JUNKYU of YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Goes on a Fact Check on His Jump Rope Skills, “Can Perform 300 Double Jump Ropes”

[동아닷컴=곽현수 기자] HARUTO of YG’s rookie group TREASURE went on to fact check JUNKYU’s jump rope skills.
On April 6 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the ‘Fact Check – JUNKYU’s Jump Ropes’ Episode through their official blog and TREASURE’s social media channels.
In the video, HARUTO asked JUNKYU, “I heard you can perform 300 of them(double jump ropes)?” and JUNKYU made the viewers laugh by hesitantly responding, “I’ll do my best”.
During the TREASURE special live broadcast last year on February, JUNKYU surprised the members and fans by revealing, “I almost do 300 double jump ropes”.
JUNKYU put HARUTO in awe by successfully performing double jump ropes consecutively. However, he fell into the floor after completing 68 on his first try, which was way below 300.

JUNKYU explained, “I never said I can do them in a row. I can fill up 300”. He calmed his mind and challenged again but did not manage to exceed the numbers.
HARUTO confidently offered JUNKYU, “Why don’t we split the numbers?”. JUNKYU quarreled with HARUTO and responded, “You can’t do it”.
HARUTO succeeded in performing 22 consecutive jump ropes on his first try, failing to reach his own expectations. But he showed his desire to win and reached a total of 200 with JUNKYU.
Towards JUNKYU who had to perform the remaining 100, HARUTO offered, “If you can do them 100 in a row, I’ll buy you cider whenever you want for the next week”. JUNKYU could not perform 100 of them in a row, but filled up the 300, completing his fact check.
JUNKYU stated, “It not a fact(that I can perform 300 double jump ropes). I’m sorry”. He continued, “I was supposed to perform 300, but kind HARUTO finished 100 for me”, and made an applause with HARUTO to celebrate each other. The two people then successfully performed a couple double jump rope as an ending.

TREASURE Makes Hand Sanitizers For the Members ‘By Themselves’… “Safety First”

[마이데일리=여동은 기자] Members BANG YE DAM, DOYOUNG, and YOON JAE HYUK of YG’s rookie group TREASURE prepared a special gift for the members’ health and safety.
On April 7 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE – Hand Sanitizers’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s social media channels.
The video clip showed the three members making hand sanitizers themselves, for the other members.
DOYOUNG explained the formula thoroughly while even considering the ratios. BANG YE DAM and YOON JAE HYUK also looked enthusiastic while watching him and stated, “We can do it”. They also looked excited yet sincere when they asked, “Doesn’t this feel like a science experiment?” and began creating the hand sanitizers.
The members could not hide their content as the bottles were getting filled and showed confidence by suggesting PARK JEONG WOO to test the sanitizers as he walked by.
After making 12 bottles of hand sanitizers, BANG YE DAM, DOYOUNG, and YOON JAE HYUK designed the ‘one and only’ hand sanitizers for the other members. Starting with the number 7 which is CHOI HYUN SUK’s favorite, ‘Don’t be hurt MASHIHO’ for MASHIHO, to supportive words for YOSHI who’s preparing for his GED, the members presented TREASURE’s heartwarming friendship with their unique affections and senses.
In the end, the members grabbed the fans’ attention and encouraged ‘social distancing’ to prevent the spread of COVID19 and added, “safety first”.
While currently on a full-scale debut project, TREASURE is connecting with the global fans by steadily presenting the members’ charms through self-produced contents including ‘A 3 Minute TREASRE’, ‘TREASURE MAP’ which covers the story of 12 creators, ‘TMI’ which covers the behind scenes of TREASURE’s schedules, ‘Fact Check’ which solves the fans’ curiosities, in addition to their profile photo series.

YG TREASURE’s PARK JEONG WOO X HARUTO Cover Liam Payne’s ‘Stack it up’… A Perfect Harmony

[OSEN=박판석 기자] PARK JEONG WOO and HARUTO of YG’s rookie group TREASURE reinterpreted Pop star Liam Payne’s song with their unique Hip-hop vibes.
On April 8 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed PARK JEONG WOO and HARUTO’s cover video for ‘Stack it up’(originally performed by Liam Payne, Feat. A Boogie wit da hoodie) through their official blog.
In the video, PARK JEONG WOO showed off his charismatic vocals as usual. His mild vocal tone made a perfect match with the rhythmical song, digging into the listeners’ hearts. The viewers were able to check his bread music spectrum as the main vocalist of TREASURE.
HARUTO took the rap part and collaborated with PARK JEONG WOO. He dominated the mood with his unique low-tone rap, while showing off his swag by adding gestures on every bar. On the latter part of the song when HARUTO put in adlibs while PARK JEONG WOO was singing, the two members’ harmony was perfectly presented.
Prior to the shooting of the cover video, PARK JEONG WOO and HARUTO exchanged opinions in a amicable mood and planned their poses and actions on the spot. Due to their efforts, a high-quality cover song video was born. The two members, who are of the same age, have deep relations as they’ve also previously teamed up during the duo competition on ‘YG TREASURE BOX’.
TREASURE is currently on a full-scale debut project which began this year. In addition to the cover songs·performance clips which allow the viewers to check the members’ skills and talents, the group is connecting with their fans through various contents including ‘TREASURE MAP’, ‘TMI’, Fact Check’, and ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE’.
