TVXQ's U-Know Yunho (real name Jung Yunho, photo) was acquitted of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID- 19 ) quarantine rules and stayed at an entertainment pub until late hours.

Regarding U-Know Yunho, who is accused of violating the Infectious Disease Prevention and Management Act (Infectious Disease Prevention Act), the 2nd Criminal Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office said, "U-Know Yunho, one of the 4 guests (who was present at the time), is recognized as a crime because there is no punishment in the criminal case. It did not work, so the charges were dismissed,” he said on the 2nd.

However, the business owner of the establishment was prosecuted without detention for violating the Food Sanitation Act, and a total of 5 people including 2 employees and 3 entertainment servicemen were summaryly indicted for violating the Food Sanitation Act. Separately, he asked the Gangnam-gu Office to impose fines on 12 people including U-Know Yunho, the business owner, employees, and customers .

According to the prosecution, based on the notification of the mayor/do governor under the Infectious Disease Prevention Act, an order to prohibit confinement restrictions or an order to comply with quarantine guidelines are issued. According to the Seoul Mayor's notice on February 25 , when the situation occurred at the time, violation of business hours restrictions was a 'fine for negligence' as a violation of quarantine guidelines. Accordingly, the prosecution decided that guests, including U-Know Yunho, were not subject to criminal punishment.

However, after the 4th stage, the contents of the notice have been changed, and violations of the business hours restrictions are subject to criminal punishment with fines in that it is prohibited to limit collection.

A prosecution official said, "The case was forwarded to the police in May." Social distancing was implemented on July 12.It has been upgraded to level 4.

Earlier, U-Know Yunho was criticized when it was announced that he had been at an unlicensed nightlife pub in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul until midnight at the end of February, when the second stage of COVID- 19 social distancing was being implemented in the metropolitan area .

At that time, restaurants, cafes, and karaoke bars in the metropolitan area, including Seoul, were closed until 10 p.m. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency charged him with violating the Infectious Disease Prevention Act.
