(Sorry that this is short). This is just an appreciation thread talking about my love for TWICE, how they became my ult group, and how they got me into K-pop.
I discovered TWICE around November of 2019. My brother discovered them through their song "Fake and True". He decided to show me. He didn't like it at all but I immediately fell in love with it all, the vocals, the MV, the outfits, everything. I decided to check out more of their songs later on like "Brand New Girl" and "Happy Happy". After watching some more of their songs and interviews, I started to become a really big fan of theirs. Later on, I fell in love with Nayeon's personality and vocals, so I decided for her to become my bias. (I didn't understand what bias meant at the time so I just called her my favorite member). I then found out more groups because of them. I remember I was making a Spotify playlist for TWICE and in the suggestions of what songs I could put was Red Velvet, so I decided to check them out. I really liked their music, especially their song "Future". I have to say thank you TWICE because they were what got me into K-pop and made me discover the bands I love today. I also have to say thank you to my brother because if it wasn't for my brother clicking on "Fake and True" and showing it to me, I might have never even liked K-pop. Becoming a ONCE was one of the best decisions I have ever made!

Also I find it very interesting that you are so focused on the japanese side off their releases, do you prefere their japanese songs in general or was it just the ones you heared first?

My brother is just like that lol. Me too! I actually prefer their Korean songs but I heard their Japanese ones first.

For me, I would have to pick Basics. One in a million is also another really good one as well! <3
