For wild animals sure. But domesticated animals would likely die en mass from either disregulation or being killed by predator animals. And then we have zoos for which animals would likely die even if they were to escape [which is impropable]. Pet feces are likely to cause issues toward the environment as well. There's more, but i'm curious to what you mean by utopia/paradise?
a paradise for animals and plants. sure, some animals would likely die, sure the domesticated animals would be eaten and killed to but in a more "way of life" matter. they would at least get a chance to live a free life. animals just like us rely on basic instincts watching my dog right now .. I am sure he´d know what to do when seeing a chicken :). he had tried attacking animals before, it is in his DNA. at least they would finally become the ones to decide their lives. imagine being a dog in a flat, not even having the freedom to shit when you want to as not to displease your master.
we have taken way too much for this planet and no matter how we keep talking about how green we want to be. if we just died one day, everything would be relieved. sad but true.
