Yeaaaaah i know children whine all the time, but i would show them the rate of successful and disbanded groups to wake them up. But even then, i would be like get a diploma first and then do whatever u wanna

Maybe the producers of such shows take that target group into account? It's a disturbing but very realistic consideration that pedophiles could be fandoms too. I'm sorry but there's rarely moral behaviour in 'Big Business'.

they definitely do, and there are many pedophiles in the kpop industry. look up han dong chul (the pd of many survival shows, including produce) and his comments on "healthy porn", which not only come across as pedophilic, but also very incestuous ngl.

the pd of this show herself said that she wants the average debut age of the group to be below that of newjeans, because she believes there is a demand for younger idols amongst the kpop fanbase.

and a potentially unpopular kpop opinion here? kpop fans who don't support this sort of behaviour rarely do enough to oppose it. they zero in on individual cases. like right now, they'll zero in on this show specifically, and specifically call the pd of this show a pedo. whether she's a pedo or not is irrelevant imo - her saying that she's just responding to the demand for younger idols is her holding up a mirror to the kpop fanbase. unfortunately there's a bunch of kpop fans who are more than okay with little kids debuting wearing full faces of makeup and revealing clothes. and there's a whole bunch of kpop executives who'd prefer it to be that way too. it's a disease across the kpop industry.

Unfortunately we can't do much against it internationally. People in South Korea need to boycott and stop that bullshit (maybe legally because of the potentially dangerous, obviously sexual neurotic, producer?).
