I’ve never understood how people can be “pre debut stans” of groups whose members you don’t even know or have any music

(I don’t know if this opinion is actually unpopular, but I am going to post it.)

K-Pop fans should not be complaining about companies debuting new groups while having some already established groups.

Yes, the company should also focused on their already established groups (4 years+). But there are trainees who working their asses off just to debut as a K-Pop idol. Why should these trainees wait longer to debut because they company has an established group or two already?

The K-Pop industry’s purpose to debut idols and group to perform songs (and much more) and make money in the process.

Stanning a group predebut isn't as weird as people make it out to be. Like I'm not a rabid success stan who jumps on every mention of a new group and I find those people weird. The only group I truly stanned predebut is Ghost9 and almost two years later I'm still stanning them and I love them so much. Bottom line is stanning shouldn't be taken so seriously. It's not like I'm obligated to stay if I dislike their debut or the members as I get to know them more. Or for example this new Beat Interactive group, I know next to nothing about them and I know I will be stanning because they are the second kpop group to come out of a company my ult group basically built, I just know there will be tons of cute interactions and amazing concepts as well as good treatment of the members.

!Not directed at anyone here, just for the K-pop fandom in general!
Kpop fans need to loosen up and stop taking things so seriously🤦🏻You’re here for the music, you can like the members + have the choice to keep up with their non-musical content. That’s it. That’s all Kpop is. Appreciate and talk about how much you like a group or whatever with other stans but what’s the need to start fan wars over who “outsold” or any of the other shitology ye fight over🙄
Also, I don’t get why people take those “X VS Y” videos so seriously. It’s just the OP’s opinion and I guarantee you the idol who didn’t win won’t be crying into their pillow tonight because some random fan account on the internet said X was better than them😐it’s not that deep.

Juyeon's recent nose job was fine and people who were flipping out and unstanning and are STILL hating on him in the qrts of his posts where he can obviously see it is just horrible. I think some people only stanned him because his nose was unique.

Yuehua are TERRIBLE at promoting Everglow. I think that’s really harming the girls chance at proper succes :-/
