It's honestly laughable when certain 4th gen bg fandoms try to bash The Boyz and call them nugus or whatever. I think people forget they are insanely popular in Korea. Even this month, they were fourth place in the brand reputation ranking. The only groups ahead of them were BTS, Seventeen, and NCT. In 4th gen bg popularity in Korea overall, they are only behind TXT. Kpop stans need to accept the fact that The Boyz are more popular than their faves even if they aren't selling millions of albums and getting hundreds of millions of views on YouTube.

Their longevity is also better considering their fandom is primarily in South Korea. Once international fans get tired of those certain 4th gen groups, where will they be left? Meanwhile The Boyz can use their fame in South Korea to gain other opportunities later in their careers, like acting, which some members have already had the opportunity to do.
Bottom line is noisy bgs are going nowhere and The Boyz flower power cute music will last them forever

Sunwoo is the true fourth gen it boy, talent wise. There is seriously no one like him in 4th gen rn. He is the true ace of the group, he's completely overflowing with talent and charisma. He has the most amazing 'idgaf' personality. If netizens didn't hate him so much, he'd be so much more popular right now. But ofc they want pure, sweet idols who choose their words carefully and bow to their every whim. When you get someone rebellious like Sunwoo it really brings out their hateful side. It's amazing that Sunwoo refuses to tone himself down and I'll always respect him for that.

People bullying Juyeon for his nose job because they missed his "original" nose was completely stupid for a ton of reasons, but especially because it wasn't his original nose in the first place. He messed with the tip before debut and the surgeon made it extremely pointy, hence the iconic "beak". His nose job this year was reverting the tip back to it's original look, which is more rounded but still pointed, and his bridge is still hooked. So the people throwing fits over his "perfect untouched no plastic surgery old nose" was also a result of plastic surgery. This has been bugging me for months 😐 the stigma around plastic surgery is so fucking stupid honestly, the obsession with having your faves be "natural beauties" is so weird to me. So what if they got plastic surgery? A lot of my faves have had a ton, and it doesn't make any difference to me, as long as it's something they wanted. Also, I have no problem talking about plastic surgery, because I don't believe that it's bad or wrong, unlike the majority of people 🤷‍♀️

It's so stupid how people get on Blackpink's case when it comes to their lyrics saying "I'm better/prettier than you" etc.. People want to blame them for their songs coming off like that and yet the girls hardly ever the ones writing their lyrics. Their songs are almost always written by Teddy so why not blame him for those kinds of lyrics instead?
