Let’s take a moment to hear from August’s User of the Month, Selfmate.

1. How did it feel to be selected as User of the Month? Did you ever expect you would be given the title?

surprising and unexpected since uotm is a voted mechanic and I know that some of things I say can be divisive.

As one might be aware I'm not into titles or ranks or awards so this was not on the radar

2. Could you tell us something that most people here don't know about you?

I was bullied in primary (elementary) school and thus I have a distinct bias against bullying. Whilst bullying lead me to become more resilient and tougher one might say - that's me and not all victims of bullying will react the same way. In fact a lot of people can have lifelong mental and physical issues from bullying.

In fact one of my favourite traits in people is resilience - I named my oldest son after one of the Chinese characters for it

3. How do you think other users here would describe you? Does it match up with how you are in real life?

Sarcastic, Funny (hopefully), happy go lucky

For the most part yes - I do have a serious side but this is a kpop forum we're taking about for the most part. We are the people who
1. like kpop
2. like it enough to join a forum (and forums to my knowledge are a dying breed)

so therefore the purpose of the forum is to kpop and chill - have a few laughs, meet some new friends and share our preference for kpop

4. If you had to pick 3 people here on the forums to help you survive on a deserted island, who would you choose?

these three are some of the oldest people I know and that I consider friends. I think if one were to ask me who knows me the best or who understands me the most it would be those three

5. What's your favorite part of the forums?

the card center obviously because everyone and their grandmas know how much I love cards
