Before we reveal September’s User of the Month, we sat down with @lexus, August’s recipient. We are thankful for her well-thought out answers and participation

1. How did it feel to be selected as User of the Month? Did you ever expect you would be given the title?
I was very surprised. I never thought that I would be User Of the Month since I didn't post or interact with others as much until lately. I didn't think I deserved it much either. So when I saw the thread for UOTM for August I scrolled down and was like "Wait. That's me!"
It was very exciting. I felt so special, too.

2. Do you have any other interests outside of K-Pop?
I guess one of my biggest interests is anime. I've been fan of it since I was 15 and I never would have guessed that I would still be watching it at 29. I also like collecting merch from my favorite shows such as clothes, figurines, small toys (especially from blind bags/boxes), etc.

Another interest I have is gaming. Although, I haven't been playing that many games as lately. Mainly just Genshin Impact at the moment.

3. Could you tell us something that most people here don't know about you?
One thing that I can think of is that I have a Psychology degree. I don't talk about it much.
I currently only have a Bachelors degree but I have been reconsidering to apply to graduate school to get a Masters degree so that I can have more job opportunities in the future.

4. What's something that always brings a smile to your face?
Being with my family. Especially when my mom, brothers, grandparents, and nephews are around. It always feels good to be around them and when everybody is getting along.

5. What superpower would you like to have?
Teleportation. I'm not very punctual so being able to teleport to where I need to go would make my life a lot easier and get me to places on time.

Sailor Moon is one of my favorites. (The 90's version of course)

The 90s version was so good! (That may be my nostalgia, but whatever, it's also fact!!)

I get into anime in small doses now, like I liked the live action One Piece well enough. It's a fun medium for telling stories.
