Verkligheten (English: The Reality) is the eleventh studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Soilwork, released on 11 January 2019 via Nuclear Blast. It is the first album to feature drummer Bastian Thusgaard as the replacement of longtime member Dirk Verbeuren. The album's release also marks the longest gap between Soilwork studio albums to date, with their previous album, The Ride Majestic, having been released nearly three and a half years earlier.

Some really stand out, solid tracks on here, while maintaining it's melodic formula, with added aggression.
It's a lot different from The Ride Majestic IMO.

The consistency and togetherness this album has compared to majestic. Which I think lacked slightly shows.

favourite songs to me are "The wolves are back in town, The nurturing glance, the ageless whisper and you aquiver."

I think @Bookworm would appreciate this :)

Swedish melo death triumphant on all fronts :)

As soon as that intro started, I got early "In Flames" vibes. Really like the ways it progresses, the journey it takes you on. It's clear Soilwork, and a solid song. I do like it ^^ Thanks for the tag!

No worries there! Rock on metal sister <3 \m/ >.< \m/
I like the journey it takes you on as well. It's well narrated lyricism and just enthralling in its own right.
