Oh man that's a hard one. Halo's tricky, because Beyonce's voice is a bit lower than either of theirs and she starts at the bottom of her range at the beginning, and the actual song production is smart because they blend her voice when she hits the chorus and the loudest part kicks in. Without that/acapella it gets yell-y. Great way to hear what they're capable of tho'!

1 is more stable but she really does get a bit shouty at the chorus. 2's voice gets thinner, but she seems to have a bit more technical skill and deviation in style. Both very solid.

Um um um I choose 2, while doubting myself heavily.

Tbh when I was listening to the first girl, I was like "no way I won't vote for her".
But... I don't know why, but the way the second girl sings just got me so hard.

Don't doubt, lol I agree with a lot what you said! It's a good analysis, the only other thing I'd say about idol 1 in this performance is the placement of where she's directing the sound from...is a bit odd, but that could also just be because of the English. But yeah since I can't vote just wanted to say in the comments I agree
