(which he didn't, ofc) They want to get a negative reaction out of you. The prank I mentioned is basically bullying.It’s intended to get a negative reaction out of the kid. Those kinds of things to me are usually only funny if you’re saying something so absurd that the recipient knows it’s not true. Otherwise it boils down to “haha this person is sad, how funny”
