No really think about it… what function to they really serve? There’s the argument you could need them for scratching but there are already tools to gelp do that and worse case scenario rub the itchy spot on the carpet. Works for me when my feet are itchy.​

You've lost your mind... As someone who's accidentally ripped off fingernails/had them fall off and then has pinched those finger or hit where the nail was supposed to be I can say you are wrong. I also use to run a lot and your toe nails fall off frequently. Then stub your toe or drop something on it and you'll long for death. I like my fingernails and toenails a lot!

I did this jokingly at age 10 (we had to make a fake world the creatures weren’t even human and they didn’t have fingernails bc I didn’t see the point) and got bullied for being dumb (I wish I was joking. ofc this wasn’t the only thing that ppl bullied me for being dumb for but yes thinking I was dumb and annoying for the impulsive adhd stuff I did was why I was bullied)

it's nothing serious dw it drops off a lot because i play sports very often, it doesnt hurt at all so its fine

Sports will do that. The first time all 10 toe nails fell off after an 11 mile run I was so freaked out. It didn't hurt until I dropped a book on one of my toes...

We need fingernails for the same reason animals needs claws. To puck things up, to pick things off (peel fruits etc ) or to hold onto smth, ex. Climbing.

all 10 toenails? thats crazy did u get a checkup with your doctor i think u need it more than me ngl

honestly im used to seeing injured toenails dropping out but i still remember the freaking out the first time one of my toes started turning blue-black, was the first time i actually saw my toenail falling out and it hurt a lot. worst part was that there was no new toenail underneath it when it fell so i spent a few months walking around with a bare nailbed

are you 2 human or lego... what is going on, my body parts never fall off like that
