False cognates are words between two languages that sound the same or similar, but have different meanings. Here are some from me:

English and Russian:
Magazine vs Магазин (magazine)-in English it’s a journal thing or a part of a fun that stores amp for firing. In Russian it’s a store.
Fabric vs фабрика (fabrika)- In English it’s cloth, in Russian it’s a factory.
Actual vs Актуальный (actualniy): in English it means correct, but in Russian it means current (but not necessarily correct).
Focus vs Фокус (fokus): In English it’s to pay attention for something or something that is the center of attention, in Russian it’s either a joke or a magic trick.

Spanish and Russian:
Carta vs Карта (carta): In Spanish its menu or letter, in Russian its a map or a playing card.
Familia vs Фамилия (familiya): in Spanish it’s family and in Russian it’s surname.
Para vs Пара (para): In Spanish it’s for or to, in Russian it’s pair.

English and Spanish:
Embarrassed vs embarazado/a: In English its to feel self conscious or awkward, in Spanish it means to be pregnant.

in polish "brat" means brother and certainly not what charli meant naming her album that :haylul:
Same in Russian, it always amused me how close it is :scree: And in English bother and brother are only one letter off. Coincidence? :uwu:
