I love that, slowly but surely, idols are starting to be more public about their dating lives. now, I don't mean idols can't be private about it. I just mean it seems like idols are confessing before their companies now, and I like that! (unless I'm just wishfully thinking - in which case, I take it all back)

some things i LIKE about kpop pertain to the older days of kpop as i can't seem to think of any good things that has come out of this generation...but i like how kpop, especially with its older songs have such a timeless feel to them. with snsd's into new world that has came out in 2007, it doesn't sound dated at all, in fact, the song sounds even better.

another thing would have to be the cd covers/album covers of older groups. i especially like the ones from the 90s and 2000s. they felt much more dynamic, but simple at the same time. here are some examples...

I have always liked that they at least publicly embrace the role model that the job dove tails with.

not the hot button spoke persons that many US stars are but thoughtful consideration of impact.

GG at least from the more successful third generation groups have all members renewed their contracts with the same company they started with
and one 4th gen GG have done the same (Itzy) so this is in contrast to prior generations where not all members would renew under the same company
