I think the day I really became myself is when I finally realized in high school that I don't really care what people think ~

Bullying,Physical,Emotional and Mental-Taught me that I should Sometimes value the times I can be alone to strengthen my guard and never let it down as easily

Harassment,Sexual and Degrading-Taught me to value conservation and understand it’s okay if I wish to shield myself and cover myself inside and out

Lack of Compassion from others-Taught me that even to my enemies who wish ill upon me or belittle me. To still offer kindness and assistance.

It made me turn out colder than I though at times. But it taught me I can do everything on my own at times. It’s okay sometimes to ask for help but I like to keep people out so they won’t be involved in or feel they need to be. So it taught me Indepence and to become a leader instead of following

i forget where but someone said "when you face trauma, you're stuck in that age" and when i realized that i kind of forced myself to grow up.
and if anyone is wondering, it wasn't that bad of a trauma. it's just something money related that happened to my family when i was young and it really rocked my world so yea. i didn't consider it trauma until i heard those words.

Family/ church/ books/life but most of all me.
I tend to work very hard to define myself, its my life and my understanding I only get 1.
I have made life changing stupid decisions in some cases nonrecoverable, but those were my choices. figure it out.
I can control very little in the world, but i can control my attitude (most days) I focus there. Try to stay happy and have at the very least a non negative impact on those i come in contact with in the normal course of life.
And really really try to not stress over stuff i cannot really change nor impact. I am not always successful at this (thus some dumb choices.)

Poverty, teenage parents, growing up in a gang violent poor area, schizophrenic mother, abandonment, strict religion ( My childhood Mormon days and from my grandma side), beating that borders on child abuse, a bit of bullying, family autism, sexual assault, being a 2nd mother to my siblings, depression, self harm, suicide.. Love.. Pregnancy... family, mother's cancer and death, my dad being a little bit of a difficult person and a pathalogical liar....

i'm missing something most likely but that the jist of it really. Yeah there weren't alot of good things but when they came about they were amazing and things that helped keep a little bit of hope, i only ever need a little bit to survive after all.

Thank you, i don't think i am because i guess its all kinda normal for me, life has just been what is was for me, i got dealt a bad hand to start with, even though i still struggle with a few things its not as bad as it use to be, it was harder when i was younger cause alot of this happened during my childhood years until adulthood, so it was really out of my control at the time. Me and my siblings turned out okay though the best i could have hoped for tbh.
struggle is struggle regardless of what it is or the amount, we can only do the best we can to face it in our lives.
