When I was a kid, my fearfulness was comparable to that of Chuckie Finster from Rugrats - E V E R Y T H I N G scared the living sh!t out of me - from dogs, darkness and thunderstorms to loud noises to silly things like ceiling fans and the wall hangings next to my crib. Small dogs and loud, sudden noises do still scare me, and I do still jump whenever I see a ceiling fan I didn't know was spinning lol, but I outgrew everything else.

OMG... For a second I misread your post to say you were afraid of Chuckie Finster... and I was like .... but my fears.. The idea of death, no, non-existence is the worst for me. Certain bugs. Living in the city I no longer fear cockroaches, but do scorpions and spiders... My sister and nephew live in an area where scorpions are prevelent and they often find them in their house... and they are the kind that are clear so you can barely see them... So scary!!!

I also fear public speaking like mad... Just being in a space where I just forget what I'm supposed to say... Cute story my senior research class had to present our original research and we all spoke for like 20 minutes individually and our advisor said we all had a problem saying umm every five seconds... lmao

butterflies are awful, especially the super colourful ones
on a related note, moths are terrifying too, our school found this massive one with a wingspan of like 15cm... next day only the wings were left

insects, all of them are scary to me even the small and harmless ones. huge buildings, i think that's called megalophobia these two seem quite common though. i also have somniphobia (fear of being asleep) and a fear of forests where i actually forgot its name, these two are completely irrational and i seriously wish i could get over them
