DISCLAIMER: I’m not trying to start any conflict or drama, I just wanna know your genuine thoughts, opinions and what you think about both sides of the situation

I’ve been trying to keep up with it but I’m honestly so lost and confused, I saw the hand written letters from the members just a few mins ago and I don’t know how to feel, how do you guys feel about this?

I will be on the side of the girls as it doesn't seem like ANYONE is looking for their actual best interest... but I'd still like to know the whole and true story. In all this junk I don't think it's fair to blame the kids when adults do stupid things instead of protecting the kids. I even keep hearing about the mothers working with the givers attorneys... The girls need their OWN attorney that works solely for them.

I think it's extremely messy. I think they should be granted a contract termination or at least a suspension, because the situation at Attrakt is so messy currently. Unpopular opinion though, I do think that Fifty Fifty are trying to take advantage of their success to try to get a better contract, but I don't know if that's because they're ungrateful or the company genuinely has a bad contract conditions. Right now it's nothing but a he said/she said situation.

If the contract is genuinely taking advantage of them (or abuse has occurred) legally speaking or Attrakt broke their contract conditions with Fifty Fifty, it should be terminated. However, if they are just trying to get out of the contract because they think they can be more successful signed to a different company, the court should rule against a suspension or termination.

This is the only case, I've seen with a contract termination petition in K-Pop that I'm unsure if the members are being honest. I still like Fifty Fifty, but I have yet to see any slam dunk case that they have grounds to win a suspension/termination from their contract. I'm not super updated because it's hella messy but I'm neutral at this point, I just think there was a mutual falling out of every part involved in this shitshow of a situation.

Fifty-Fifty was just blowing up and they would have had more attention and exposure and established a foothold in the industry. The GP is fickle, particularly when it comes to gg, so inactive time means the gp moving on to the next gg. The industry is full of gg that lost momentum by taking too long on a cb.

I also think because they are young and inexperienced, they didn't consider the optics here. Other artists who tried to break contrast had seemingly supportable arguments: physically abusive management or several years under their belt spent carrying the weight of the business (like Chuu). Both of these situations made the artists more "likable" in trying to break their contracts. Baekhyun had the edge in his contract battle with SM because he is exceptionally well liked and has a strong fanbase that spends to support him. These girls have none of these things so it's easy to spin the story they're just being greedy about a better contract while the group is hot. (Again if they just waited a few more months they could have taken the PR spin about "we're the biggest, hottest group and we found out we're just making $2, look what they're doing to us" and have public sympathy on their side for trying to break the contract.)

for public opinion you have to differentiate between korea and the west, in korea people seem to hate them and see them as the betrayer idols, in the west its probably more in favor of the girls or at least more even.

yeah this also always worries me, especially as at least what you hear from the Attrakt side of things, there is no way of communicating with the girls directly, despite many attempts of Attrakt to reach out to them. Only their laywers, the Givers people or their mothers are speaking for them. It makes sense that more experienced people handle those things, but the way Fiffty Fiffty seems to get off and is never directly invovled concerns me greatly.. it just gives the impression something extremly shady is going on their side of things and I would not be surprised if thats all the works of the Givers CEO, who apparently even according to his own uncle is a scam artist..

From what I read, they say Attrakt uses all the money to pay off debts that got accumulated for their debut and did not tell them about it and somehow the other company owned by the Atrrakt CEO (Star Ent something) is also involved in this

But this is probably a very simplified version and probably inccorect summary, I really tried to understand it and read many articles on it, but I think I'm not smart enough

like some of the current things happening reminds me of BBC trying to make Loona perform a comeback without Chuu, but the difference here is that it’s unclear about the remix of this Cupid song dispite the legal battle and why specifically Cupid

You make a really great point about members standing their ground proving how they were mismanaged and or mistreated but Fifty Fifty hasn’t been around for too long
