What do you prefer? K-pop or Western Pop? (1 Viewer)

For me, I am more glued to the western side. I do listen to some K-pop releases which are popular but I’m slowly losing my interest.

I listened to Western music first.
But Korean Pop has a bigger hold on me than the western music in my view.

Plus Asian heritage and all that I possess, also makes it more of a foundation.

I think I’m the same as you a lot of the older established groups have stopped experimenting which makes their comebacks a little boring for me plus a lot of the rookie groups that are out right now aren’t really catching my eye.

Kpop i have not listen to pop i a while so busy u know. Literally i was talk about ramen cause someone brought up spring onions and how u can chop them up and put them in ramen mom said we know the my lil bro said she try to be asian and i just had a ribbon that tie my hair into a pony tail. my grandma said that more of a white girl thing. my lil bro said no in those anime they do that. i said no they mainly put in to big bow or small bow. they started to laugh and my mom said i need to get u an asian daddy. burst out XDDDDD

western back say 15 -20 years (so say 50's - some 90's ) kpop for more current stuff.

more rock focused in some areas too. i have changed how i view music and fun lite happy kpop/jpop is what i choose to consume now.

I don't think that one is necessarily better than the other, but I can say that I almost listened only to K-pop ever since that I discovered it.

Only things I like as much as kpop are eurobeat, videogame music and anime/tokusatu music (let's put all the later 3 into "soundtrack").

So yeah, not very into western music.
Not even American Pop or UK Pop if we go more specific.

And I only like few stuff from my own country, be it popular music or more niche stuff.
