In case you aren't in the loop, MNet was accused of rigging the results and PRODUCE PD admitted to fraud. IZ*ONE is losing sponsorships left and right, they are being removed from events, their comeback is being postponed. Nothing of X1, their schedule seems unchanged.

How do you think this will end?

Only 1 way I see it ending for X1 which is bye bye X1 and for Iz*One they'll either get shipped to Japan forever or it'll be bye bye for them as well

I don't think X1 will get affected as much. Hate to admit, but double standards are strong in Korea and girls will definitely feel it much more than guys.

I don't think we'll be getting anymore produce shows in Korea. The recent seasons haven't been as popular as the past seasons as well. I would love for X-1 and IZ*ONE to continue but their future seems pretty bleak atm.

I feel sorry for all the idols who have to go through this. Imagine being given an opportunity that means you are guaranteed success and then having it taken away from you in the blink of an eye. I can't begin to imagine how they must be feeling.

I don't think X1 will get affected as much. Hate to admit, but double standards are strong in Korea and girls will definitely feel it much more than guys.

Could be that they get away fine since Iz*One are getting the initial backlash because of this being revealed near their comeback so X1 don't get it as bad when it comes to their turn but if the real lineups are revealed, I don't think anything will save them.

IZONE is done if they actually have proof and publish it.

The only way to save them is if the police say they found nothing and the early reports were in error.

Most of the sponsors were tied to the show from the start.

At this point I'm not even sure if X1 will get a comeback, their reputation has been tarnished enough... Yeah, boy groups can survive better than girl groups but fans, especially western international fans, are fickle-minded who jump from one group to another and there are plenty of boy groups out there to stan. X1 has far more western international fans than W1 ever did but Southeast Asia fans are one of the most loyal (majority of W1 fans were Southeast Asian), western fans not so much, imo. If anything, I can see the companies start pulling out the boys from the group.

Very unlikely now same with Eunbi and Chaewon into Rocket punch.
About the only way that happens is if they publish the actual list and none of them were manipulated.
Most likely all 9 Koreans are done in the industry the kids are disposable assets.
Company execs are going to be far to busy covering their asses to worry about the girls damn them all.

Lets be real nothing exciting is going to happen

1. Izone and x1 will be fine
they wont lose a fanbase due to this i still like x1 no matter what as it isnt the members fault

2. they may not going on certain shows for a little bit basically they may not be sooo public for korea public

3. neither group is fully marketed to korea so will focus outside of korea for lil bit x1 america izone japan

4. produce will come back and be as big as ever cause everyones eyes will be watching for the drama

X1 haven't signed their official contracts yet due to the investigation so it's entirely possible that their agencies could decide to withdraw them if being in the group becomes problematic...

As for Daniel, you can always read this Kang Daniel: Profile, Biography, Awards and Accomplishments I’m tired of nay-sayers who still put him down after all he has achieved. You can push an idol but you can’t force Korea to love them (and if you claim that MNET pushed him then you’re wrong too) Daniel is an exception to this, he’s a beloved and cherished idol in Korea, who despite all of the setbacks, keeps coming back stronger.

Given that there is not a 'real ' line up since all rankings were faked from day 1. While they may or may not have the results from the live voting (and the online voting too?) no team is the true team.

since no ranking was valid (especially if the final 20 were preselected from the start)its impossible to model who should or should not be in.
YT/naver/ SM views/ stuff are useless because they are not pure Korean as the votes were supposed to be.

Continue promotions with the current members, if they even want too, admitting its a CF.

adding a member or 2 if they wish to join (depends on how many were shut out) (ie Juri Miyu Haeyoon Miru have jobs and likely do not need the mess)
Miu Miho may want it but i doubt it. that leaves Kaeun and Chowon.

I think disbandment is most likely for both. X1's members aren't all signed yet so they might choose not to with their own company or maybe they won't be signed up by CJ. I*ZONE is getting tons of fallout and they don't have that long for contracts left. There is option to just promote outside of Korea where produce scandal likely matters lot less, but comeback in Korea doesn't seem that possible.
