What does your ult group(s) mean to you? How important are they in your lives? What have they done/affected in your life?


For me, my ult group, Seventeen, has honestly changed me as a person all together. I was very young and impressionable when I first got into Seventeen at their debut, and they helped mold me into who I am today. At first, they were just my favorite group, and listening to their music and watching their reality shows was just something extra I did for fun whenever I had the time. While that is still the case, they've become so much more to me now. As times in my life got increasingly more difficult, I found myself more commonly looking towards Seventeen for positivity and comfort. They were and always have been the one stable thing in my life that no matter what, I could always count on. Music has always been a big part of my life, but no music had truly moved me so much. I feel that because of them, I was able rekindle and discover some of my interests and hobbies, and shape a lot of things for me now. They were/are my only reason to live at some times, and without them I really don't know where I'd be. So I guess for me, my ult group means so much to me because they quite honestly changed my life. Seventeen bring me so much happiness and I'll always be so grateful to every member for forming the incredible group that is Seventeen.

My Ult groups seventeen has had an extremely big impact on my life. I've been listening to them casually since 2015 but became a big fan in 2017/2018 and they helped with so much. The last two years have been sort of hell for me and seventeen has inspired me to going heading forward no matter how low I feel. All their inspiring quotes made me feel better about my self. Their motivation when training motivated me to do what I want with life. All their silly jokes and random things they say made my days brighter. Their music makes me feel better and happier everyday even if I can't tell what they are saying their voices amaze me.

Seventeen legit dragged me out of the darkest parts of my life and I am forever grateful to them.

I think in the sense of the word idol, they make me want for others to feel the same stuff that they make me feel. That magical feeling of hope, tranquility and ofc other emotions like sexiness or even hate.

I think it's somewhat mythical, even if they are mortals (some are godesses though)

I was literally 14 or 15 when I got into VIXX (i'm 20 now). So, I cannot deny that they partially influenced me as I grew into adulthood with them lmao. Maybe they're the reason why I have a pretty mean side to me lmao. But, they always felt like an escape room of everything, I can't say they were like friends necessarily but I can say that I could rely on them if that makes sense. Whenever I needed to have a laugh or just not think, I would go to them. But yeah, I learned a lot of good traits from being their fan and being in the fandom (i'm honestly happy how unproblematic starlights are in comparison to most fandoms). so yeah, that's what a small part of VIXX means to me :)

BTS and Red Velvet are parts of my life now. And they distract me from the hardships of this world. So they are very important parts of my life.

BTS and B.A.P are my ults. Their music has helped me so much, encouraged, strengthened, and inspired me. In my darkest times I know I can listen to anything by them and feel like I’m not alone, in a way their music is always there for me. The members words towards life’s struggles, anxiety and depression have helped me to continue on with my life and not giving into my darkest thoughts. I feel like this may seem extreme to some but they saved me in a way when I was just getting ready to give up. I’m so thankful for their music and their variety shows that make me smile.

Well I am in love with alot of groups. I literally have a good amount of ults. I know some people don’t get it but I just love all of my groups the same and I honestly can‘t decide on a bias cause I just really love them all equally ( yes even Gyuri who is my wife. It‘s just that she is totally wife material while the others feel like our kids? )

I found snsd when I was in 11'th grade, a time where I felt so alone despite having friends. I was disliked and felt misunderstood. Whether at school or at home, I was lonely. When I think about it now, how they were able to comfort me and get to me despite them not even knowing who I am sounds strange, but it's how it was at the time. Listening to their music, watching them on shows, they made me laugh, I also learnt how shallow I was to look down on Kpop. I learnt how music can save you, how people who don't know you and in a sense, you don't really know them either, can help you more than the people right beside you who've been in your life for years. Snsd helped me get through my two final years of high school.
