I don’t think (G)I-dle will survive the seven year curse. If anything I think they will move to another company. It’s clear they enjoy music but they don’t enjoy being under Cube​

I probs wouldn't use music quality as a factor, just because all music (especially in K-pop with the fuckery of having so many genres mesh together) is subjective. Plus, if the fandom eats it up, why wouldn't they continue?
However, I do agree that enhypen may not survive past 7 years since they just don't seem they could??? Idk they're like aespa, where they're really strong but they may not want to continue past 7 years and maybe do other things.

Yeah to add to this, manifesto is their best selling album at like 1.5 mil iirc. As long as they sell, that’s rlly all the companies care about, regardless of controversy or critical reception. This isn’t even mentioning the boatloads of money they make from other things like touring and merchandise…

f(x) is an odd case.
easily the most solo stan fanbase sm has ever had. With huge inter fandom hate to other members.
bad luck with big injuries early in the run.
Still acknowledged as one of the tringle leaders. ( Vic Suili Krystal tend to be only behind Yuri Yoona Seohyun)
very busy actors in a small group.
Zero touring until year 7 ( with 2 English speakers, and most of the group not natives)
Felt like they went to full albums to focus every thing on one cb a year. which is not as bad as it would be later when gg were doing 3-4 cb the first year.
No matter how one feels about dating Suili Choza was a tough sell and it impacted 2 cb's, blowing up the red light one.
Then Vic getting caught in politics after going beck to China for what was to be a short deal. Ended up the last we saw her.
Amber actually had the first Solo album of sm' 2nd gen gg with a Taeyeon feature and it was luke warm at best.

They just don't seem close enough to continue working together. Like they look like friends but I have a gut feeling they may want to do solo shit or just drop out of the industry. But it's way too early to tell.
