Yea, well, i kinda used to have two ultis that nobody got close to. When first of them quit, I thought of quiting kpop but i guess forum kept me in. I'm not sure what happens when Big Bang gets disbanded though, especially when it seems likely possibility. I don't rly get into new groups, Blackpink maybe most, but that love isn't close to what i have had with 2NE1 and Big Bang. Maybe I would still hang around and be casual listener, but yea my interest just has been dropping year to year.

same with me, idk but my honeymoon phase of being a kpop stan passed a long time ago. I tend to just stick with blackpink because of how dedicated I am to them compared to the other groups that I stan. if I were to ever get uninterested in them I would probably get uninterested in other groups as well.

I did, i think it's only for halloween though- wanted sth bit creepy, but i kinda like the mood maybe i will keep it bit longer

Hmm. Well, only time I really talk about K-Pop is when I'm on the forums and Twice occasionally with my sister-in-law. I just like listening to music. I've truly never got invested in the people enough for that to change how into K-Pop I am. The v-lives and specials and stuff are just sprinkles on top of the cupcake for me. So, if I ever stop following Twice or BTS or RV (etc.), then I'll just keep on listening to the old stuff I like.

Eventually that may turn into me "leaving" K-Pop (as is the case with J-Rock and J-Pop -- I listen to a lot of the older stuff, but never kept up with the groups nowadays or their newer music). But then I'll probably get back into it later on, like what happened when I discovered Twice, lol.

I'm actually amazed at how Blinks continue to stan BP in spite of the scarcity of releases. Must be very frustrating.

As a Sone I can sort of relate. Oh!GG releases 2 songs every decade, and the solo releases are nice but not quite the same.

Come to think of it, it feels weird calling myself a "Sone". It's like being a fan of a sports team that won championships in the 2000s but is no longer playing today. Whenever I watch an SNSD Tokyo Dome performance I feel like a grouchy fan reminiscing about the good old days. But hey, at least I still have a complete set of teeth.



Same here. My Kpop world is pretty much Red Velvet right now.

I follow other groups' music: WJSN, EXO. But those groups are in the "I'm a casual fan" category, where they are joined by Western artists such as Ariana and Bruno.

i think its more because I've just been with blackpink for so long and i know how much potential they have as a group and I want to see everything that they release. if i were to leave i would just feel so empty and unfulfilled, I want to be here for the long run and there's no hurt in me still stanning, there's not much else for me to do. its not like they release albums 24/7 so I only really spend money on them like once a year lol.

Blackpink, the first group i stanned, the reason why i got interested / stayed with kpop and entered my first fandom !

If they would disband, tbh it wont be a big deal for me... you might ask why ? cuz akgaes destroying the fandom, reputation of blink and turning BP into x & the girls, no coherence in defending certain members being bullied, but slutshaming its own members.
It was a hell hole end 2018, fighting against online bullies from outside and inside the fandom, THE WORST !!!!!! ( some users here know what i am talking about )

Somehow it got me tough, maybe killed something inside me but opened me up for more groups.

Nowadays i stan many groups, some less some more..
ITZY / Fromis_9 is really high on my list .. ELRIS, Weki Meki, Lovelyz, Momoland, Red Velvet, G I-DLE, BVNDIT, Everglow, Limesoda, Apink also IZ*one, Twice and many more ( solo artists excluded )

Lately getting into past GG's like f(x), Miss A, SNSD, 9Muses, T-ARA, Girl's Day, SISTAR, After School, 4Minute, 2ne1 ( great songs, groups, somehow i find those groups/songs much more interesting compared to today )

With boygroups i only stan 1-2 members, like Taemin, Jimin / V, GDragon and so on

I don't really take the fandom into account when it comes to stanning blackpink, I just love them so much so id defend them from anyone. and I hate the akgaes as well, they really do annoy the shit out of me but I just don't think I could unstan a group that I've been with for over two years because of some people on the internet hating from behind a screen. that's just me personally.
