I do add many ingredients because noodles ain't too healthy in the first place, so I add veggies to make up for it. I don't use the spices that come in the package because they are shit. I add my own spices. If it was a brand that came from east Asia I would use the spices but we don't have foreign products here.

Here in Asia, whereits usually just called instant noodles (as opposed to hmm , non instant noodles dont take much longer or the same time to cook, or maybe instant refers to convenience) most ppl dont call it Ramen outside Jpn. I usually eat chicken, curry or spicy local flavor similar to curry. Ill add egg, either sausages, diced/cut up chicken or shrimp if i bought any. But i hvnt cooked instant noodles in mths istm.

I've never had ramen, and I'm pretty sure what's been sold around here is by no means whatsoever authentic Asian ramen. So I don't bother to try. Maybe during a future visit to either Japan or Korea (or both), I'll try it.

Tonkotsu (pork broth) is my favorite both at the restaurants and the instant ones. It's not very accessible to buy the Japanese brand ones here but I know some places and they are great for instant ramen. I also make my own shio (salt), miso and shoyu ramens from scratch because tonkotsu takes too long to make lol. I make my own broth, tare (aromatic base), oil base and my own toppings except for the noodles that I usually buy pre made. I like it creamy broth with some spice kick to it such as the chili oil (rayu) and/or lots of garlic, sesame, boiled eggs, chashu, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, spring onions... spinach, corn and butter is a must on a miso ramen
