recently i think about this way too often than i should... i don't really believe in heaven or hell, at least not in the religious kind of way. with that being said, the idea of simply not existing at all slightly terrifies me so i hope there is something after we die.

I feel like there is more to life than humans think and there is something else out there. Whether it's god or not, I don't really know and I don't know if that has anything to do with heaven either. Right now, I'm leaning more towards the side of it not existing. I believe in reincarnation though.

What is my idea of heaven? I have never being there that I remember, nor I have any evidence of its existence; so I can't objectively know. It may exist.

People (some people) have a grand idea of heaven as being this idealized version of life... but the more I think about it, the more I think heaven and hell are just states of existence rather than a physical reality. I do share a similar fear of non-existence as @eclipsoul does... I would rather be forced to rot in the ground while being cognizant of it than not existing...

But my ideas of heaven and hell have changed over the years to the point where I believe in an after-existence, but not one that is anything like we are currently living. Like a state of doneness... Completeness, if you will... and being at peace with it.. Perhaps overcome with feelings of love and such would be involved... But nothing like how it is now. I do not have tasks to do. I won't eat. I won't sleep. I won't have conflict. I will simply be...
